After 200 hours of designing, writing and programming, MPC is pleased to include The Museum of South Texas History into out portfolio. This project was especially important because it not only reflects the team at MPC Studios, but it also represents the history of the Rio Grande Valley. Every word, design and picture to the greatest detail was developed to represent the historical past of South Texas. The Museum of South Texas History has been preserving the heritage of South Texas and Northeastern Mexico for almost 40 years. From prehistoric plants and animal fossils, to native people, European colonization and the Steamboat exhibit, MOSTHistory embodies our rich South Texas history and culture. They continue their growth with current development of the River Crossroads which introduces visitors to the rapid and astounding changes brought to the region during the twentieth century. The new website includes exciting features which make navigation through the site easier and more appealing. The museum values education and offers many programs and activities for students. That is why MPC Studios created an attractive, user-friendly Education section designed to provide teachers with all the information and worksheets needed to plan a successful visit to MOSTHistory for their students. The website entirely demonstrates three key elements of a successful informative website: * Simple Navigation. All the sections of the website are easily accessible on the left-hand side of the screen at all times, and major sections are also featured in the center of the homepage accompanied by a picture. Events are located at the bottom center of the page, clearly visible for visitors on the homepage. * Reliability. We have developed a system of maintenance that allows for quick and easy change requests and rapid response and resolution for the website. MPC Studios is the complete one-stop solution for website planning, design, development, hosting, maintenance, and promotion. * User Friendly Appearance. The new mosthistory.org is attractive, readable, and accessible to all viewers. It also features a redesigned photo gallery with all original photos shot by MPC staff.
